GRAPE VARIETIES:
50% Cabernet Sauvignon
40% Tempranillo
5% Merlot
5% Garnacha 


HARVEST:
Harvest mechanized and nocturnal during the first half of September 2005. Winemaking: After stripping, passing the stainless steel tanks for fermentation at controlled temperatures between 24 and 28 º C. During this process we provide a series of pumping to control the temperature of fermentation using a novel system that allows us to break and cool hat, through a deposit "OBI". The aging in 225 liter French and American oak, where it remains a minimum of fifteen months. Was bottled in December 2007.


Vintage 2005
Winter frosts caused an irregular sprouting and, especially, the water deficit caused by the summer drought, which caused a reduction of 40% harvest, the grapes still present a health status and optimum maturity .The vintage was very good in quality. The reduced production and bunches with berries smaller and therefore a higher percentage of skin on the pulp which makes a higher proportion of properties suitable for making wine together with the technical control of the viticulture , determining factors in producing a quality vintage.


Vineyards
The grapes for this wine come from all our farms. The soils are varied, having in common a well-drained soils that are poor, allowing us to grow very healthy grapes and low yields.

TASTING
shiny red wine, with a medium ruby red color layer. Clean and intense aromas reminiscent of red fruits with spicy and roasted provided by aging in oak barrels. The entry and the palate, the wine is full of flavor without losing smoothness and balance. Pleasant and persistent end-feel.
